Serena Satyasai & Andy Kemp Join Samba TV As VP of Marketing and Regional VP of Sales
SAN FRANCISCO – April 19, 2016 – Samba TV, the leader in real-time TV analytics, today announced Serena Satyasai as its first VP of Marketing and Andy Kemp as Regional VP of Sales. With the additions of Satyasai and Kemp, Samba TV further empowers major brands and agencies to better harness the power of television and precisely analyze the consumer journey from TV to online conversions and purchases.
Both Satyasai and Kemp bring a significant breadth of experience working in high growth companies and join a seasoned Samba TV team, which has experienced a 600 percent increase in year-over-year revenue and has grown to more than 100 employees.
Satyasai’s immediate focus will be on enhancing Samba TV’s marketing programs, brand management, developing and supporting customer growth and driving revenue from the company’s multiple product lines.
Satyasai previously worked at Google, where she led the commercialization of YouTube’s TrueView video ads, helping brands and agencies find their audience using online video ads. She also developed marketing programs for AdWords and Google Apps for Work.
Satyasai joins Samba TV from Zscaler, a pre-IPO internet security firm. At Zscaler, Satyasai scaled the company’s new business pipeline, helped build the company’s brand, grew the marketing team globally and turned the website into one of the top channels used for sourcing, qualifying and closing new business.
Satyasai holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Columbia.

Kemp, who will oversee Midwest sales, has worked in the ad tech industry for more than 10 years, helping brands and agencies plan and execute ROI driven strategies. Kemp joins Samba TV from AddThis, a company recently acquired by Oracle. During his tenure, Kemp successfully recruited and built sales teams who drove revenue across multiple channels. Previously, Kemp worked at WPP and Omnicom, where he assisted Fortune 500 companies with go-to-market strategies and new product launches.
Kemp holds a BA in Advertising and Telecommunications from Michigan State University.
