Leveraging 14 Years of Experience in Large Scale Advertising Operations, Mr. Huynh Will Direct the Global Expansion of Samba’s TV Ads Platform, Increasing the Value of TV Programming Across All Screens

Samba (platform.samba.tv), a leading Interactive TV company, today announced online advertising veteran, Jackson Huynh, as its Chief Operating Officer. At Samba, Mr. Huynh will be responsible for the continued expansion of the TV platform, transforming TV advertising into a dynamic, multi-screen experience.

Samba enables advertisers to build a direct relationship with viewers by synchronizing media on TV as well as second screen devices, like tablets or smartphones. Underlying Samba’s platform is it’s patented synchronization software, which can identify TV shows and ads within seconds, and immediately make related content available to the consumer. TV viewers will have instant access to great content, such as biographies of their favorite TV personalities, social media conversations happening around TV shows, as well as the ability to engage with advertising or offers on screen. Mr. Huynh brings over a decade of experience in digital advertising. Most recently, he served as the Global Head of AdMob Ad Operations for Google, where he successfully scaled AdMob’s core businesses across Google’s platforms worldwide. Prior to Google’s acquisition of AdMob, Mr. Huynh built and ran the Ad Operations team for the company, where he contributed to the company’s rapid revenue growth amidst the smartphone explosion and established the company as the market leader in mobile advertising. Previously, Mr. Huynh worked at Yahoo!, where he held leadership positions in both the client services and product divisions, giving him a deep understanding of the entire digital advertising ecosystem from its infancy.
